Event Highlights: The Tyler Junior College Automotive Technology Program hosted an Odyssey Day event at The Discovery Science Place in Tyler. The visitors received information about the importance of alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicles to reduce air pollution and America’s dependence on petroleum. A Toyota hybrid Prius, a commercial grade truck operated with vegetable oil, and a Prius hybrid transaxle were on display to demonstrate alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicles.
