Event Highlights: Exhibits featured vehicles that operate on flexible fuel, biodiesel, recycled vegetable oil as well as hybrids, electric vehicles and high-efficency, low-output diesel technologies. Also featured were exhibits on wood gasification chambers, green and sustainable construction products, aftermarket auto parts, and fuel additives to improve fuel efficiency, solar, and wind energy. The event featured speakers Pat Moles, mayor of Harrison; Jeff Olson, North Arkansas College President; and Ed Proctor, North Arkansas College Dean of Business and Technology at the Odyssey luncheon. Speakers focused on intelligent usage of our natural resources and North Arkansas College’s long-standing commitment to teaching and modeling energy conservation and technologies to reduce our effect on the climate.
