Event Highlights: The NASA IV&V Facility hosted an event at the I-79 Technology Park Research Center showcasing vehicle displays, vehicle test-drive opportunities, industry experts, speakers, government officials, educational seminars, and individuals with real-world alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicle experiences. The event showcased dozens of local AFVs including hybrid-electric, battery-electric, flex-fuel, compressed natural gas, and many others. An impressive line-up of speakers included experts such as Jeff Herholdt (Director, WV Division of Energy); Kay Kelly (North Central Clean Cities Project Manger, U.S. DOE); Dean Cordle (Executive VP, AC&S, Inc.); Jonathan “Jon” Elder (Executive VP and CFO WVHTC Foundation); Ben Shew (Transportation Director, WV Department of Education); Al Ebron (Executive Director NAFTC); and many others. The event also included talks and information from many state-wide AFV advocates, refreshments, and AFV training sessions.
