The WVU Food Recovery Network at the West Virginia University Student Sierra Coalition teamed up to deliver an impactful message to the University’s faculty, students, and staff. Together, they spoke up for science, action on climate change, clean air and water. The passed around a petition the received over 100 signatures that called President Gordon Gee to stand in solidarity with scientists and to take action on climate change in Morgantown.

At the event, introductory educational materials on Alternative Fuel Vehicles were handed out. Patrons learned about electric drive, biodiesel, hydrogen, as well as other petroleum reduction technologies.

Approximately 100 people were in attendance throughout the event.
